The scientific findings on the gut microbiome are absolutely fascinating. How can we illuminate the importance and health/social implications of the gut microbiome and reimagine the future of science through speculative design?

Overview

Microbe Psychic is a speculative design project where I envisioned myself as Microbe Psychic who can see, analyze, and manipulate gut microbiomes. For this project, I wrote the story, designed and animated the graphics.

To optimize Microbe Psychic’s superpower. I invented a Microbe Extractor that allowed me to collect microbiomes from fecal matter on the go. After collecting different types of microbiomes, Microbe Psychic will make them into ice cream toppings to share with those in need.
