Desktop design

We kept the structure fairly straightforward on the homepage, which showcases all the information the user will need. In the gallery section, subtle hover state animations help indicate each thumbnail image is a clickable link. We also created a CMS to host all the data for each gallery.

In addition, the hamburger menu is implemented across devices to avoid the clutter of long titles for different pages. The black-and-white mosaic background is used to spotlight the navigation.

Since the structure is minimal and flexible, the mobile design is very similar to the desktop design, but the type and image sizes are tailored to mobile devices.

Mumbai Gallery Weekend

Mumbai Gallery Weekend, the biggest event hosted by the Mumbai Gallery Association, is a coming together of multiple galleries across the city to participate in one event each year for a weekend. The website is independent from and linked to the main site of Mumbai Gallery Association.
